I cry in private. As a child we were not allowed to cry.
(((RubyTuesday)))
That's just plain wrong!! What kind of parent....ahh, nevermind. I know the answer already. I'm truly sorry. No child should have to experience some of the things some of our parents put us through (speaking for myself, anyway).
Yeah but have any of you cried because you were so happy ?
Oh yes. And what a wonderful feeling that is!! Odd that such opposite emotions (sadness/happiness) can sometimes extract the same reaction from us.
What I like is laughing so hard that I cry...like after a painfully funny joke. Now, that is a good laugh....
a story about a jw man sueing his dr. over blood transfsion was just announced to be on within a few minutes.
truman
Crazydrinker...those are my thoughts exactly.
They'd better watch it, or they'll have no doctors that will do
anything for them. You'd have all these pee'd off JWs, if the doctors
decided to stop treating them. "We're entitled to health care just as
much as anyone." But why do they even bother with it? You're better
off just dying and waiting to be resurrected...you'll have a better
life then, right? I feel that Doctors should have just as much right
to decline operating on a JW (without catching flack), as a JW has
the right to decline a blood transfusion. IMO, too much would be
at risk (for the dr) by operating on a Jehovah's Witness. You
give him/her a blood transfusion...you can get sued by the client.
You don't, and they die...you can get sued by the family.
Not worth it!!!! I, personally, would NOT do it.

Sorry about the double space but I can't seem to get rid of it.

I'm with Viv. And I agree that holding it in is not healthy. I'm all about letting someone know they hurt me or made me mad...unless of course, that's the reaction they wanted. If that's the case, I wouldn't give them the pleasure but I would let it all out once I was alone.

if one wanted to be creative in disassociating one's-self..just how would you love to do it?
i think it would be a riot to hire a few stripping telegram singers to sing my letter instead of having it read from the platform..
anyone else?
I'd get some of that fake poop that you can buy at most novelty shops. Not sure what I'd do with it...but I'm sure I could think of something....
Or buy one of those ink pens (where the ink is disappearing clothes) and place it on the platform before the meeting.
As you can tell, I'm not very creative when it comes to mischief....LOL...

Depends on why they made me cry.....circumstances and personalities have a lot to do with how I would choose to react.

subject: an important study.
a newly published study from the university of wisconsin.
showed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ.
LMAO....too funny. Thanks for the laugh, Patio...
Mister Biggs, ask me that again in about two weeks .....
well..it was bound to happen......she is one of my absolute favorites......here is my homage .
god sometimes you just don't come through/god sometimes you just don't come through/do you need a woman to look after you/god sometimes you just don't come through .

Tori is wonderful. It angers me beyond words when I hear someone insult this beautiful woman. She has done what many of us will (or can) never find the strength or courage to do. She tells the world of her pain, and puts it out there for everyone to see...to support or criticize her for it. She takes her beautiful voice and uses it as a weapon against those who have hurt her the most in her life...and resounds a pleasant yet firm "screw you" to them all!
One of my fav excerpts from one of her songs is this:
"...well, I'm not 17 but I've cuts on my knees....falling down, as the winter takes one more cherrytree....." Girl (Little Earthquakes)
This statement stuck out to me and has come to mean so much to me. It reminds me off losing something precious and irreplaceable to something as cold as "winter".

there were 3 good arguments that jesus was black.
1. he called everyone "brother".
2. he liked gospel.
Spice,
I adore Tori. I'll go check out that thread, right now.
And thanks for the compliment....It's about time that someone around here noticed how cool I am !!!

Plm,
Those are gorgeous. I especially liked the one with the butterfly wings and emerald dress. Those are the colors and hues that have always appealed to me. I, too, have always been fascinated by fairae (and gnomes, centaurs, fauns....all those other "fantasy" things).
BTW, your youngest son is 17. If the pics you post are of you...then I have to say, you do not look old enough to have a son who's 17. You look great! I am only 30 and I look like I'm almost ready to hit a Nursing Home....lol. Actually that's a slight exaggeration...but I definitely feel like it sometimes.
